AKA – Health Wealth & Oneness CIC is a grassroots non-profit organisation founded by three friends (Antwon, Kevin & Anton hence AKA!), and members of the community that wanted to be proactive about making a positive impact on the community whilst making the city and its people happier, healthier & unified. We provide opportunities for people from disadvantaged, socially isolated groups of all ages in Nottingham to access projects and events to improve their physical, emotional, and mental well-being to create community cohesion.

Fitness
Health is Wealth! Sign up to one of our fitness camps and get fit the fun way as part of a supportive team. For all people of all abilities and fitness levels. Motivation won’t be an issue!
Workshops
Bespoke workshops for young people or adult groups tailored to their needs. Issue based, educational or personal development sessions available. Delivered by our experienced and engaging AKA team!
Conscious Meetups
Set in natural surroundings and using fire to ignite our spirits. Our invite only group meetings offer a chance to share, unload or discuss life and all it’s mysteries.
First Aid Training
Whether you need to train your staff team or would like to upskill the young people you are working with. AKA can deliver the course to the level you require in a fun and engaging way!
Events
Football tournaments and matches, charity events, dads and lads sessions and more! Keep an eye out for the next one and get involved!

Meet The Team
Antwon, Kevin & Anton founded a CIC dedicated to Health Wealth & Oneness based in Nottingham.
Three lifelong friends that have grown up together, sharing a common goal of wanting to make a positive contribution in our communities. Bonded by similar interests, morals & core values. AKA was born in 2020 when we decided to take the leap & formalise the work we were already doing separately, creating our own community interest company (non-profit).
Exercise & health have played a big part in our lives, & we have been fortunate to amass over 1000 football matches in the National Conference & below. Playing semi-professional for clubs such as Hucknall Town, Alfreton Town, Eastwood Town, Loughborough Dynamo, Ilkeston Town, Harrogate Town.
With a combined 50+ years of experience working within the youth and public sector, in a wide range of capacities from National & Local Youth-Based Project Manager, Property Development Manager, Health & Safety/Recruitment Officer, Leisure Centre Attendant, Children’s Secure/Residential Care Home Practitioner, Alternative/Mainstream Education Practitioner, Youth/Adult Justice System Targeted Support Worker, Unity Football & Educational Programme Mentors.
This journey has seen AKA engage with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, from all socio-economic groups, including; BAME, LGBTQ+, high-risk offenders & re-offenders within the criminal justice system, (LAC) looked after children, (SEND) special educational needs & disability, substance misusers, (NEET) not in education, employment or training, refugees & asylum seekers, mental health issues, homeless & vulnerable young people & adults.
The experience we have attained over the years has been vital to our growth as men & has shaped the vision for AKA CIC.
We believe that Health Wealth & Oneness is the foundation for a better tomorrow.
